Question

Where will the wedding take place?


Answer

The wedding takes place at Can Marial (see Wedding Venue), located in the town of Caldes d’Estrac, about 40km from Barcelona. We will celebrate the entire weekend, starting with the Welcome Cocktail on Friday 9th of May, followed by the Wedding on Saturday 10th, and closing off with a Seaside Sunday on the 11th. Question

Can you rent cars at the Barcelona airport?


Answer

Yes, all major rental companies rent cars from the airport, you’ll find their service desks as soon as you enter the terminal (both Terminal 1 and Terminal 2).

Where does the AEROBUS to the city centre leave from?


Answer

All information on the AEROBUS can be found here. It leaves from both airport terminals, either located downstairs from the escalators (Terminal 1) or right outside once exiting the terminal (Terminal 2).

Where does the train to the wedding venue leave from?


Answer

For the train to Caldes d’Estrac you need to take line R1, it leaves from the Sants, Plaça Catalunya, Arc de Triomf, and El Clot stations in Barcelona. You can find more details here.

Which options for accommodation are recommended?


Answer

There are two recommended hotels for this weekend, all information can be found here. The couple, close family, and most guests will stay at Santa Romana (the first option), others may prefer to stay at Dynamic (the second option).

What is the best way to book accommodation?


Answer

The Santa Romana accommodation consists of apartments for up to four people, that you can book online (here). If you are coming alone or with one other person, and you wish to see if there are any guests who have space left in their apartments, please let us know and we’ll get you in contact! For the Dynamic hotel, bookings can be easily made online (here).

What time do we need to be where for the Welcome Cocktail on Friday afternoon?


Answer

The Welcome Cocktail will take place on the rooftop of the Dynamic hotel, starting from 17.00h! For those staying at Santa Romana, it’s only a 10-minute walk to the Dynamic hotel, you can find the location here.

What time are we expected at the Wedding on Saturday?


Answer

The Saturday will be our big day, there will be a full programme so please make sure to arrive on time! The doors will open at 15.00h, so you’ll be expected to arrive at that time.

What time do we need to be where for the Seaside Sunday?


Answer

The exact location of the Seaside Sunday will be confirmed later on, but in any case it will be at the beach! We aim to meet there from 12.00h, once hopefully everyone has recovered from the night before. :)

Answer

On Friday the dresscode is ‘casual’.

What is the dresscode for the Wedding on Saturday?


Answer

For the wedding, we hope to see you all at your best! The dresscode is ‘formal’.

What is the dresscode for the Seaside Sunday?


Answer

On Sunday, there is no dresscode, we will spend the afternoon on the beach with music and drinks!

What wedding gift would you recommend arranging for you?


Answer

Any gifts are welcome, but more than anything, any financial contributions are highly welcomed! We are planning our honeymoon for later in the year, so we’ll be using contributions to make this the best possible experience!
